The Carolina Lily is one of two quilts up for raffle. The second is a creation featuring photos of the Del Norte community, including Larry the banana slug and “the boys,” three harbor seals. The raffle of that quilt benefits Team Redwood, a local outreach group that has been traveling to Haiti since the 2010 earthquake. Acevedo quilted that one too, said guild member Ann Rook, whose daughter Carolyn Dikes formed Team Redwood. Raffle tickets for the breast cancer quilt can be purchased at the Gallery of Art and Culture, 175 H St. , Crescent City. Tickets can also be purchased from guild members 10 a. m. -2 p. m.
